The Western Hudson Valley Professional Horsemen’s Association is one of sixteen chapters throughout the United States in 2010.
The purpose of the Professional Horsemen’s Association is to give aid and sustenance to needy members; to provide educational aid to professional members and children of professional members through a scholarship fund; to promote and foster interest in the horse industry; and to aid in the protection and care of horses through education.
Over its 68-year history, the PHA has contributed to many of its needy members and numerous organizations and charities.
Members may be accepted into the organization based on qualifications in one of four categories: junior members, associate members, professional members, and life members.
